Despite the snow…

It is seriously wintry here in Salem…  Almost 100″ of snow have fallen in the last few weeks and everyone is getting pretty buggy.  Having moved to Massachusetts from Northern Vermont I was fine at first.  I love how a big snowfall makes everything so beautiful and quiet and I am pretty used to dealing with massive amounts of it.  This February, however, is beyond beyond…

The good news is that I have 2 terrific events approaching that I am very proud to be a part of!  The first is a pop-up gallery happening at Salem Theatre and hosted by Creative Salem.  My new piece, Plaything will be in that show along with works by more than 50 amazing artists.  The reception is this Friday, the 20th and is shaping up to be quite a party!  Click on the invite for details:5e1491ce-5030-4b7e-beef-b02538861c86

The second is the annual Artists and Authors show by the Salem Arts Association at the Hawthorne Hotel which I am co-chairing.  This annual event showcases local artists and authors together with a silent auction and this year will feature a presentation by Louise Michaud from Pictures From The Sky.  I will have a table at this event featuring various works of fiber and mixed media.  Event date is February 26.  Here are the details:
